Yeah I knew they wouldn't be great, but its all I had left to eat and tackling them cold sounded worse at the time.
I tossed them and borrowed some $$ and got myself an overpriced snickers bar for $1.25, all good now.

Yaapp, good to hear you got your money back

That is the wrong box. That box has no bus.

You want the dual bus box which costs ~$81.

Pardon my dumbness on the subject but what exactly does it mean when it says no buss and dual buss? Is one better than the other and what is the advantage of one over the other?

Has anybody replied to him on Expo Portal about this thread? Or TW? What was the response? I don't imagine Expo members wouldn't respond to him either, given the issues.

I'll pardon you if you pardon me if I explain this poorly. Basically, if you don't have a bus you would have to run power to each item individually. With a bus you can connect each item to the bus and then run one wire to your battery. A dual bus allows you to either run another power bus or run it to ground. You might want to run the second bus to power if say you wanted to have one bus always hot and the other bus turned on with ignition.

It just makes it a little easier (read simpler), saves you some wire and makes it look cleaner.

i was wondering the same thing, I figured we need the dual box, I priced out the dual bus box last night with the minimum order qty of plugs, seals and terminals for 12g and 14-16g wires. It came out to $148, not including shipping or tax, if applicable. So I personally think @FreidTaco price is fair for Just parts.

Don't forget the tool needed to crimp all those connectors to the wire. That ain't "cheap" either, especially if you're only using it once!

Yeah. The one from waytek was like $80. But I think I've seen in sky's thread where they got a cheaper one.
