My 2015 Taco has a weak sounding beep indicating doors locked or unlocked.

Anyone know a way to change to horn? Or increase to audio volume of the beeper?

Regarding the beep, I believe it's either on or off, dont think you can change the volume.

I actually got sick of the beep so I did the work around to shut it off altogether.

You cannot change the volume or sound. Just on and off

    Reserected from the dead.
The dealer can increase the volume with their Toyota Techstream software. Plugs into the OBDII port and they can make the changes you want.

Other things that can be changed are key in the ignition chime, seat belt alarm, if you have a limited truck they should be able to roll all Windows down with the key in the door lock. A bunch more I forget.

They may want $80 to hook up the machine and time is money.

If you have a good relationship with your dealer, they might do it as a good will feature.

Really they can do that with the limited, that would be cool.

    Good info from all!
When I go in for next freeby oil change I'll hit em up. Best political pull is with Sales Guys, as they like repeats.

Would seem if the programmer could tinker, it could logic in the horn like wife's Eos.

    Will update on result.
