Okay, okay, okay I know this has been beaten to death but I am wondering what is going on. I've read over and over that a 265/70-17 will fit with no rubbing at stock ride height. Mine rub like crazy at 50% turn and full lock to lock. I have a set of TRD wheels from a '11 TRD Tacoma. Anyone have a clue as to why this might be? In all honesty, I don't care that they rub. It is very minimal, but I am just wondering. Truck has no mud flaps, the front tires rub on the inside corners.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Rubbing on the inside corners of the plastic wheel well?

When I was working on some electrical stuff on my front end, I pulled the plastic back and didn't put it all the way back. That caused some rubbing issues.

Ninja edit, TRD could mean anything. Was just confirming :)

    Sport wheels.
I dont see why it would sag. No additional weight on front end, truck has 12k miles on it.

Yeah, I don't mind trimming. Just thought it was odd when everywhere you read it says these tires won't rub but mine do haha. I really don't care, was just killing my curiosity.

Tires are not all the same size. Different brands and style tires run slightly bigger and smaller. I had 265/70/17s on my truck at stock hieght and didnt have any rub on the road. I had removed the mud flaps and it rubed offroad.

If you get an alignment, let the tech know to add as much caster as possible. This will help to create a tad more clearance on what you're rubbing if I understood you correctly.

It may be a "regular cab" thing. My rc came with 245's and so did my sons dc pre runner, however his truck sits higher than mine......as others do. I think we got the hobbit versions.
