What do y'all think of the maxxis bighorn? Are they good tires? How is the wear driving on the road a lot (does it wear evenly)? How many miles does most get out of those?

They're great tires. I got over 40k out of my first set.

If you're interested I have my second set for sale, still on the rims. I'm about 2.5hrs from you

I am very happy with my maxis tires. Recently put them back on the truck after the big move and I drive about 100 miles a day and they seem to be doing just fine on wear. Was more than satisfied with them every time I take them Offroad.

If you have them available in a few more months I probably will. I'm still just looking around right now until I'm able to get my lift on and install it.

My buddys st maxx came in on his method rims and they sent the wrong back spacing and the whole tire hit the frame while still on the lift so he had to send em back. Hes just gonna get bfg kmt2 (or whatever) on his stock 17. And on a happier note i just ordered my bighorns with 10% discount at pepboys. $737 and mounting and balancing is gonna run like $85 so pretty happy. Theyll be here tuesday

Front shot bighorns. Side note got right at 21 mpg after adding additional miles on first fill up which is down about 1-1.5 mpg for my average this summer.

    Not bad, considering the weight.

I still get worse MPGs on P265/75/16.

Looks like no 255s for me. I'm jumping to 17s with the correct BS and getting rid of my spacers.

Got a sweet deal on some 285x75s. A cmc and some cutting is in my near future.

90% of my comute is 55-60 mph which is pretty gravy for this size and 3.73. 55 on the speedo is about 59 on my gps. And tire calc says 7.5% increase for mileage correction. I think my hwy mileage may go up a bit on flat ground anyway hills are gonna be killer i can already tell that with the little hills i have on my way to work.

I'll be making the switch to 255/ 80/ R17 on my stock Sport rims in a month or two. I've bought 4 sets of BFG KO's over the years, so I guess you could say I'm a BFG "fan boy". The KM2 tire looks like a great option for me, but I just wanted a little feedback. Fuel economy and road noise are big factors, but off road traction is really what I'm after.
    Thanks.
