    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    Sorry if this has been covered before and I missed it but what constitutes an alert? It will say I have so many alerts then if I look at my watched threads and there are threads I know I have posted in come up in between the threads that it says I have alerts on. Just wondering how that works

    Ok just checked that and the 1st one was when someone would post on a watched thread but like I originally posted I see alerts but when I check watched threads there are posts on them that I never receive alerts on??? Seems like I only get alerts to 1/2 of the watched threads, not that it really matters. I am just trying how to make sense of it. BTW all the boxes were checked off.

    Is there a way, or is it possible that you can get alerts on a single or a couple watched threads? Instead of all. I follow a lot of threads, but would only like to see an a alert on a few of them if there's a reply . @tcBob

But for threads I've never opened or read before, it doesn't take me to the first post or the last, seemingly it's random where I end up, usually I'm in the middle of the page, on whatever page number. Not sure if this happens only with multiple page threads or if it's single page also, but seems I can't ever get to the first post on a new thread just by clicking on the thread title.

    So I had a thought....
    Some folks were saying that they weren't getting an alert when they were mentioned in a post. What if the @blahblah was added as an edit? Would the software still generate an alert then? Or are the alerts only generated when a new post is made?
