    After lots of fence sitting, ogling other peoples builds, and general fretting about getting it right, I think I'm ready to pull the trigger on a lift.

    I want to do some moderate off-roading and family camping in what is a daily driver. I want 2.5-3" and a more level stance for a 2014 double cab off road. With this in mind, I'm looking into the full OME w/ Dakar and 887 coils. JBA UCAs which seem to have good reviews and good price point.

    While I don't currently have a lot of extra weight (e.g. no bumpers/winch), my understanding is that this should put me in the area of 3" and level. With the eventual extra weight front and rear I should still have the height I want to be making room for slightly larger tires for some extra room underneath.

    Thanks to many who have responded to my questions, I'm looking forward to posting the end results.

    Sounds like a great setup that wont break the bank but give you a nice quality ride. Id recommend a trim packer or two to correct for lean

    I have the 887's and got a full 3" of lift with a bumper and winch, although mine is the access cab. I love the 887's, great ride even with a light load.
