Beginning of Summer Beach Meet - San Luis Pass

Due to an appointment Saturday that ends at noon in Houston, I could make it by about 2pm, is it even worth coming out at that time? I'd love to meet you all, but if everyone is going to be packing up and leaving by 3 then I may just wait til next meet up..

Went about a month ago and there's not much left.

 

You'll get there in time just to watch @357sig break/burn something.

 

So you're saying there will still be some folks there? Anyone plan on staying out later than 3pm?

 

Well Dennis won't get there until 1pm. I probably won't look at leaving until 5pm or so.

 

Well then unless something changes drastically I'll be there, looking forward to meeting you all.

BTW, I'll probably get my truck stuck since it's only 2WD and I wont be able to resist driving in the sand..........

 

Oh, I'll bring a couple of bag chairs, an ice chest with beer, some munchies, and a 11.5 year old black lab.

 

I'll bring boobs and unsweatened iced tea.

 

Anybody relying on my grill? I might not bring it.

 

In sure at some point we'll be able to use Dennis' truck.

That's a bummer. That big fluffy pile of sand was fun to play on. It will be back though, just have to give it time.

 

I'll make sure to park in between you two. That way we all catch on fire

 

Yeah, and the pre-runners are in the graveyard.... Best parking spot will be 200 yards away from where ever Dennis is.

 

Well, I forgot I still have my Smoke Joe in the attic, so I'l bring that instead of the big Weber. I got 12 burgers and 8 buns, so somebody wanting a burger after the 8 should bring a pack of buns.
