God no. I hate tanto. I reshaped a tanto benchmade into a drop point. I just haven't found a use for tanto or a great quick way to sharpen

Me too. I normally switch between 2 daily carrys and both are drop points. My opinel has a short belly and my Damascus boker has a shallow one but they're great work knives

Yeah that's them. I guess the reason is bc my dad collects them. My favorite brand is buck or gerber. I like majority of the knives they make.

Buck is out sourcing recently and using crap steel. Crkt and spyderco are my favorite production knives. I've got a couple benchmades and gerbers but I've got crkt and spydercos that blow them out of the water.

I know a lot of guys like the ZTs but it's a glorified kershaw IMO. I traded my ZT for a benchmade

yeah i've had a couple kershaw as well but still like my ZT. I thought about getting a benchmade but can't justify the price point. i could barely justify the zt. bought the zt as the last one i'd ever need. was tired of cheap knives breaking every 6 months on me.
