Problem with that (I tried it) Is that then you can't open your tool box all the way, unless you pull the box out a couple inches, or have struts on the door to keep it open. Why not go with the Pelfrybilt bed bar and run it right in front (behind, whatever) of the toolbox so there's no clearance issues. I actually had just a set of those single hole things, can't remember what they're called, just to mount a single light on, on each side of the bed.

With the bends it allows the box to open all the way. And keeps them out of the way of everything. With duallys they need to have a 7" extension. I currently have this set up on my truck just need to stiffen the brackets so when I hit bumps or are off road they don't occasionally bang the cab.

This was something I encountered while I briefly had my SOS bolt-ons. The clearance issues with the brake line made me skeptical. I know most people do what you show above, or add extra hose around it and don't have any problems. The idea of having to do all that kinda made me skeptical. Also, and this is just a matter of design opinion, I felt the SOS stuck out too far and were overkill for what what I wanted.

X2, bottom of the swing out is working well so far but there's always room for improvement.

The front two bolts have an extended nut plate so you won't have to reach your hand as far. They also include a brake line spacer that pushes them out of harms way and also keeps them from rubbing on the cross member. (Like I always say, Tyler thinks of it all! ;) )

Finally got the sliders primed. Got to take my daughter to the movies today so hopefully I'll get them on tomorrow. In the mean time.... A little representation.

Did finally get it washed while the paint is drying. First time it's been washed since March

    It's only 99* with 132% humidity.

I took the assignment on the Haz Mat unit that covers the center part of the state. That keeps me pretty busy. We have a huge Haz Mat scenario coming up on Thurs at the VA hospital. So yeah... being one of the only Haz Mat Chem Techs I have a lot to keep track of.

    Saw the north face sticker.

Just learned at rt this year how anti offroading they are.

    I had no idea.

All my equipment is North Face, Mountain Hardware, Marmot, ect... I'm more concerned with survival. Not too worried about what a company thinks about off roading. They make quality shit and I'll stick with it.
