None. Most of the time we were on trails it was raining. At one point it was raining HARD. Those trails were actually more fun when slick

Not gonna try it without beadlocks. I'll take it into the mid teens, but that's about it.

How's the mounting lip on the tires? I'm guessing it makes you nervous looking at it for you not to air down? I air down to 12 psi every trip, I've unintentionally gone to 10 before but it seemed no different

In the heavy snow this year I ran 3-4psi with my 36 Iroks

 

16.5s have no safety bead on the wheel. So they can lose the bead easily. I'd love to run beadlocks but that's crawlbox money

 

Half sized wheels, like the 16.5" we run and 22.5" truck wheels don't have safety beads. They are also a five degree lip angle vs normal light truck rims at 15 degrees in order to support vastly higher loads. This means you can beat the shit out of the tires without concern of throwing a bead....as long as there is enough air in them to keep the sidewalls bulged out enough to keep pressure. The half sized wheels are good for jumping, towing heavy loads, rock bouncing, etc but bad for single digit PSI donuts on pavement. That is why the double beadlocks are the most bomb proof set up on the planet, you get vertical strength as well as lateral support, even if you take the valve stem out.

 

You can build some for a few hundred dollars ......

So they aren't ideal for trail riding or rock crawling without running beads. I wasnt planning on running half sizes anyway but Ill keep this piece of info in mind to info others who wonder

 

I didn't say that, you just can't get away with single digit PSI for very long. That is also true with ANY size non beadlock. Put them at 15psi and forget about it. Any lower than that and you get dents in your wheels anyway...at least I do.
