when i swapped my front third member, the back allen bolt thingy thats bolts into like a rubber patch thingy of sorts didn't want to budge ( i think it was instructed to do so by ecg ) to get the third out. Well after trying to get it loose for some time i found another way to take the third out by keeping that intact. I tried to tighten it back up as much as i can. Now, after getting it back in there and installed when i drive in 4x4 over 40km/h i get mad vibes and I'm thinking its from that. I have crawled and wheeled with it without any issues what so ever but the part that bugs me is the higher speed stuff. IS there anyway easy way to remedy this problem, has anyone ells had this issue /.

That bolt sucks ass, period. I'm sure if you tighened it back up improperly (I mean with the diff tilted forward or something) it might cause a vibration issue.

But is that all you did was swap front clam shells? You didn' do anything to the rear?

lol i had no other way of describing that annoying ass bolt. The front third member of a 05+ is bolted down with 3 bolts...
the front has 2 bolts and the rear has a small attachment type piece that has an allen head bolt that screws into this rubber thingy that just simply kept spinning while trying to get the allen head bolt out. I eventually gave up and found another way to get the 3rd out and before install tried to get that stupid thing tighter without luck. Now the 3rd is bolted up and during the winter i noted mad vibes when engaged in 4x4 driving 40km.h + on snow covered roads. I honestly don't know how ells to explain it. If you have removed a front third from a 05 you should know exactly what I'm talking about

Never worked on one, yet anyway... It just sounded weird in my head when I read it. Sounded like my wife describing things.

" That thingamabob that is bolted to the dohicky." :)

and yes, when i tried to remove that #3 diff support it just kept spinning. I worked around it and got the third member out. Tried to tighten it back up and put the new third in. Now there is a bit of play present..... errrr....
