    I got this bracket to move my shifter rearward and toward the driver about an inch free of charge for the Core/Hurst shift kit. The original kit had the shifter a little too close to the front of the shifter boot. Core sent out an email saying that they made a retrofit bracket and to let them know if I needed it. Going to tackle this. In a few minutes.

    The shifter bracket is installed and now there's clearance between the stick and the edge of the boot in 1st, 3rd, and 5th. I like it better with the shifter closer to me probably because my arms aren't long enough for where it was originally positioned. lol

    I installed the Eco Block with the Volant intake today since you did. lol The only shitty thing was that I had to run to the hardware store a couple times to find longer bolts for the maf sensor. Maybe the EB with the new intake will make more of a difference. I did gain at leat 1/2-1 mpg with the EB and stock intake. I did notice that where my truck would struggle going uphill on the freeway, on the drive to my house, I can now do it in 6th the whole way.

    @rka You were right about the Ecoblock working with the intake. I was averaging about 16.1 mpg with the Volant intake, which was the same as before the intake. I just got the best milage my truck has ever got, and that's including when it was stock. 17.7 mpg! That's almost unheard of for a 6-speed on 285's.

    I don't think so. The extended mid travel coilovers are about 1/2" or so longer than stock coilovers. I'm not sure what the length is but it's about the max you can go before shit starts binding with stock length control arms.

    Got tired of crappy reception with aftermarket "stubby" antennas so I cut mine just about an inch or so above the roof. Reception is really good now, same as when the antenna was full length.

    Haha I thought my Ultragauge was broken. Good to hear it's working for you too. I just hope the EB is not compromising the dependability of our trucks. There's a lot of back and forth banter on the EB thread.

    Nah, I'm not going to worry about it. If things were out of parameter we would be getting a check engine light. I'm leaving mine in since it actually made a pretty big difference now.
