Changed the PCV valve today. Needed a 17" breaker bar to get the old one loose. Installed the new valve with a bit of anti-seize on the threads.

DSC05461.jpg I TRADED IT IN!! Got a 2015 Ford F150 XTR 5.0 with every option, I won't be looking back! Say what you want about Toyota this and that, don't care if it lasts 100000miles, wouldn't want to drive it that far, brutal ride, served me well but no comparison in comfort, ride, performance, options etc!

Went into the shop today and banged out my auxiliary fuse box plate; next is to install my relay holder, circuit breaker and fuse box. Going to rivet the fuse for my amps to the plate as well to clean up the engine bay as much as possible.

Sucks that it is 105 every day here in Phoenix, I really wanna get my heated seats installed for winter but can't justify suffering in this heat anymore than I already do at work.

All done, now to wait for the dark to fall and get some adjustments made. Maybe a few more pictures then as well. Did the headlights and some smoked fogs with halo rings in them as well. don't think they'll be as bright as I want so foglights will be another upgrade later down the line.

Did an oil and filter change and greased the u-joints. I almost forgot the good part, I usually put an empty water bottle under the oil filter drain to catch the oil and today after adding the oil I started it up and was like "what's that noise?". An o'shiat moment happened. Reached in turned it off and luckily the bottle was just rubbing against the belt. Almost got ugly.

Lol, had the same idea, drive shaft is spot on, I did notice the axle moved (rotated)what appeared to be 2", I watched several times, it could be less but also could be more, I guess I could figure out a way to mount some sort of measuring stick for reference. here is a stupid question (or uninformed), should it move at all? and if not what do I do to stop it from moving? I also hear a quick "ring", which to me would be a ujoint, but they are solid, no slack.

Dropped my Aluminum Pelfreybilt bumper off at the paint shop yesterday. Will be done on Tues.

Put one more coat of SpeedLiner on the Pelfreybilt Sliders. Back when I was painting we bought into a company called Speedliner (essentially RhinoLiner). The main difference is you can spray this out of a hopper gun or a HVLP. I like the option of using a HVLP as it allows me to control the texture since I don't like the texture of RhinoLiner. This is how it turns out

And finally.... Decided to paint the fucking ugly ass chrome bumper. Looks so much better now.

mounted my SOS Concepts sliders after pulling them off, having the shitty coating job I did on them sand blasted off and Rhino Lined by the pros. So much better. Loving them again!
    IMG_0645.jpg
And I did the squeaky spring mod to my AAL after the anti friction pads took a crap. First time I did it with inner tube, which lasted a couple months. This time I grabbed some recap rubber off the side of the road and used it. Used some gorilla glue to hopefully keep it in place. We shall see what happens.

@RearViewMirror The finish on your sliders are nice. It looks almost identical to the powdercoat that BAMF used on my sliders.
