I'm trying to get the dimensions for the TRD Pro Badges that are on the Pros. If it's a 4Runner on the Pillar I believe the Tacoma has one on the Tailgate. If anyone could measure height and width and depth of the badge that would be awesome. If you have the red one that would work as well. I'm only looking for the TRD part of the badge not the second "pro" badge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The badge is 125 mm L x 25 mm H (the T and the D are 25 mm H)
The R extends down another 10 mm for a total height of 35 mm

The T and D are 3 mm thick at the top and 6 mm at the base (wedge).
The R is convex, going from 3 mm to 6 mm in line with the T and D, and back to 3 mm at its base.

Horizontal placement of the combined TRD PRO badging is 105 mm on a line along the base of the T and D from the bottom edge of the tailgate and the '0' is 35 mm in from the vertical edge of the tailgate.

    I hope this helps.

No problem. I had my tailgate stolen, so I took the money from the insurance to buy the black OEM badging from the US, since it's not available in Canada.

I then went to my local Toyota stealership, and like you, they had no idea of badge placement, so I measured three different Tacoma's on the lot to make sure of tailgate badge placement.

I also did this during install on the tailgate:

    badge_tape_R_zpsuwfmmdw1_42e401f7ff46a1c5d05593bd93eb5ad86b9b886f.jpg

... and taped off the door badges first, fishing line removal next, heat gunned and thumb rolled the left over tape, then Gooped the glue residue, cleaned with Windex, and re-installed with the black badges.

I also replaced the silver tribal flames with VHTF black tribal flames (Summit Racing has them.) Here's the final look on an MGM.

    It works for me.

Long story short, I want to put the TRD badge on my tailgate in place of my V6 Emblem. The dealer wants $79 for the badge, it's not worth that for a 5 inch peice of plastic so I'm going to 3D print it instead.

You can get it here for a lot less ($40), keep the TRD part and send me the PRO part (I'll pay shipping) ... and they are metal.

'Cause he can do whatever he wants with HIS truck... same as you.

Yup, you're right. His stealership is trying to rip him off. That's why this community is here ... to help. They are only $40 on flea-bay for the TRD PRO set # PT413-00150

See the link in my previous post.

The one that I linked to is free shipping in the US.

It's cool that you can do the 3D printing. Might be a market here.

As for the dick comment, it's all good. He must have woken up in a feisty mood. :pccoffee:

I never would have known so many measurements went in to one little badge.

What type of adhesive did you use when re-installing the badges?

Do you happen to have part numbers still for all of the black badges?

I didn't use adhesive, as I replaced the original chrome badges with new OEM black badges.

You can't get them in Canada (too expensive), but here is a link to fleabay items:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Tacoma-Black-Emblems-Genuine-OEM-OE/301588369283?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=29979&meid=a8f1ed79a3324ae4bfd75a310c2d9338&pid=100005&rk=1&rkt=6&sd=252005678234&rt=nc

Just do a search for 'Tacoma black emblems' on fleabay.

    OEM Toyota emblem PN: 75471-04040-C1
