I have a garage, but I did it outside on a windless day. I'm not worried about overspray, as I hold a piece of boxboard behind what I'm aiming at. The best paint that I have found is Krylon Industrial, black satin. It looks factory and dries real fast. I'm a rattle can Rembrandt.

I live in the country, so only the main roads get salted. All secondary roads get sanded only. That's still hard on windshields, so I have a bug deflector and use Rain X for extra protection. PIAA Sporza wipers are worth the investment as well. No pits on my windshield after 3 winters.

I anti-rust coated the truck the week I bought it, against dealer recommendations may I add. They said it could f-up the electronics. The anti-rust coating wore off after one winter, and various components began to flake and rust immediately even with the bogus electronic anti-rust module they installed (which I didn't pay for).

I'm going to coat it again this fall.

Made some mounts for my high lift in the bedrails using bolts and wing nuts. I would post pics but I like to hide my shame until I can get some actual mounts lol:anonymous:

Painting the BAMF light mount bar right now. My new grill should arrive Tuesday, so at some point I might actually get a chance to put together the new front end before I head for NorCal over the 4th. Also need to figure out why my Grid-It keeps falling off the center console lid. Adhesive on the lid side of the velcro I bought keeps failing, probably need to get some fresh at this point and clean the lid and/or scuff it a little for better adhesion. Guess a mini-mag and a single stack magazine is too much for the current stuff.

I got my resi mounts from Ruff Stuff! I like them, just tack them onto the frame, wrap a hose clamp around them, and then bam done. Pretty sure they were like $12 too.

At 200,000 miles this week I gave my 2007 a well deserved face lift....on a budget .First it got a new 2011 honeycomb grill for 70.00 Then I got a really nice clean set of OEM LED tail lights for her, another 180.00 there. Then I added a nice new OEM chrome rear bumper for 100.00 to replace the N.Y.salty and rusty black one that was on it. Then under warranty Go Rhino sent me a new pair of Step bars, even covered the 135.00 shipping. This week I pick up a nice set of Weather Techs for 60.00, as the ones I have are about wore through. That's my 400.00 upgrade.....till we hit 300,000 in a couple years.

Removed the OEM LED Tail Lights and put on some Depo Black LED Taillights. Took like 10 minutes? Amazingly simple. 2 x 10mm bolts is all that holds those things on!

    More Stormtrooper!

Yeah I'm thinking along the same lines. Deciding if I want to go White or Black derp though! Walmart only sells Black, Gray, and Red. No plans for a plate bumper for me though.
Though I am wondering if I should do the 3rd brake light now though.
Also considering debadging the whole truck.
