The struggle is real when my center console barely fits a Shield:

My g19 fits in my center console great. Holster helps it stand up.

Went to break-in the new MVP Scout this weekend at a buddy's gravel pit. It ended up being an "unofficial" Tacoma (and a FZJ80) meet
(the Scout performed flawlessly too :))

Which holster would you guys choose, the Hidden Hybrid or the Aliengear holster where they have buy two holsters for like $50? Right now I don't have my concealed carry but I'm hoping to do that sometime in the next couple of months. The hidden hybrid is IWB and OWB then of course the Aliengear I would have to buy two seperate holsters. Which of these would you choose? I can't see spending more than $60-$70 for my first holster.

CCW hardware consists of more than just the holster. When it comes to cost, remember the old mantra of "buy once, cry once."

If you're looking for a cost-effective setup, here's what worked for me:

Raven Concealment Systems Phantom OWB Holster: (http://raven-concealment-systems1.mybigcommerce.com/phantom-modular-holster/)
RCS mag pouch (single or double): (http://raven-concealment-systems1.mybigcommerce.com/magazine-carriers/ )

I've owned RCS products since 2008. Their Phantom OWB is the gold standard in kydex holsters. The workmanship and durability of their products is one thing - the other is just how well they help with concealment. I've had more success in concealing a firearm (full and mid-sized Glocks) with RCS products than any other company I've tried. By the way - OWB carry is much, much better than IWB carry.

Lastly, don't discount the need for a stable mounting platform - aka a gun belt. Here's what I've been using for years - relatively inexpensive, but answers the mail: (http://www.thewilderness.com/tactical-belts/frequent-flyer-belt/ ). Recommend that you get a 1 1/2" wide model for holster compatibility, and the CST polymer lining makes an already tough belt even moreso.

I hate full kydex holsters for iwb but love them for owb.

I'd get a ktmech kydex owb, then either look at crossbreed seconds or Foxx for a hybrid iwb.

Looks good, the red on "fire" turned out better than mine did.
I ended up painting mine camo so the coloring went away.

Anyone here have a Sig P226? I'm thinking of getting a MK25 sometime soon. If so what are your opinions on it?

My uncle has a p226 (tac ops I believe), great shooting gun with no problems.
The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the factory 226 (9mm) holds 15 rounds, the same exact amount as my M&P in .40 with a heavier weight (metal frame vs polymer), which isn't a big deal if you have multiple handguns for different roles (I don't, I only have a full size M&P currently) or don't carry everyday (CC or work).

Well you can get the flush fitting Mec-Gar mags that hold 18. That's what I use in my 92A1. But I agree it's kinda cheesy they still come with 15 round mags. And I have other hand guns for different roles so size and weight is t a big deal.

I kinda have a thing for Military pistols though, Beretta, Sig, 1911, etc.

Go for it, great shooting gun, sits perfect in most people's hands and it's hard to not be accurate with one.

I'd like to shoot a m9/92, I don't care for the slide mounted safety or the exposed barrel design but I want to feel how it shoots.

I had my 92A1 modified by Wilson Combat and one of the things they did was remove the safety so the lever is a decocker only. The gun is a really great shooter.

You won't be disappointed. The Wilson 92G Brigadeer Tactical is a pretty good deal if you ask me. About the same as the 92GSD ($1100-$1200) but I'd rather have the Wilson to be honest. I had to spend a lot more than the production Wilson, but they did a lot more work and time on mine.

They are incredibly smooth with the trigger and manipulating the slide. 7 pound DA pull and 3.5 pound SA. Racking the slide feels like a high end 1911 as well. The gun stock is already accurate, now it's just easier to shoot. It's easily one of my favorites.

A buddy of mine has a Mk25 and likes it. Nothing earth-shattering - it's a P226, which is a great gun. Sig's apparently fixed their QC problems, too.

I've owned both a P220 and a P225. Those pistols are scary accurate.
