What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I think the matte black would look good on it idk how it would stand up to elements on such a big surface though. And i kinda wanted to just remove the sr5 badge lol

 

Home depot has white i beleive.

 

Yeah it's a Daily Driver for me. Not a lot of utility usage. So in theory the bumper shouldn't be rubbing anything. I derped the badges, front grille (didn't care for the SR5 Chrome look), and the wheels. All have been good so far.

Was going to do a white painted grille. But I couldn't figure out how to get the clips under the grille to come loose without busting something.

Hmm. Might have to check them out some time. Generally avoid the place otherwise. Only thing they sell I prefer is Behr paints.

 

I did the front yota emblem in white i like it and yea i hate chrome and i especially plastic chrome lol. I dont plan on doing much offroading so early in its life so i might do the derp. I was thinking a blacked out 3rd brake with leds aswell.

 

I think the front emblem looks pretty sexy blacked out myself.

 

I always thought it looked like someone stole your emblem when it's blacked out..... but that's me

 

I do like it color matched to the body.

 

What clear coat did you use? I may do this on the new heads to stop uv deterioration

 

Added Voltmeter under the hood.

so i have a 5 lug got the rear installed over the winter with a set of 5100's and now got the fat bobs 2.75" lift with a set of 4600's

going in for an alignment this week

I played it safe and checked, it pulls only .01 amps. Better safe then sorry.

 

Could wire a momentary normally open push button switch in the ground lead, then it will only be on when you are holding the button. I think I might do this.
