Roof Rack Trim

    Was washing my truck today and noticed this part of the weather stripping / trim for the roof rack is pulled away slightly, and underneath the adhesive seems to be peeling as well...

    Anybody had this happen? Can I just use 3M trim adhesive to fix it?

    Happened on mine as well. I just cleaned off that adhesive and used a section of 3M double sided that was as close to the same height as the stock adhesive bit under the strip there. It's held since December when I did it

    I had thought of that but I usually work from 6am to 5pm and the local dealership is only open 9-5 for service... And I am going out of town this coming weekend

    Yeah it looks like 3M trim tape under there anyways so this is probably what I'll do
