CB install is almost complete. Just need to righty up the wires and mount the mic mount. Used industrial strength Velcro and it's solid as a rock!

Hmmm that sounds up my alley when my 265/70/17's wear out... I think I've got room.

I like that idea Brian. I have the cobra 29lx and its big and I was trying to mount it somewhere really cool but don't think I can mount it anywhere but the location you put yours. Not that it's not cool haha but I think that's best spot and I like the industrial Velcro idea instead of drilling a bracket in right there.

You should have room if not crank up those coils.

It wasn't my first choice but for my radio I think it's the best since it's so big.. Also I like it because its under the dash a little so there won't be much glare on the screen!
The speaker is up against the center console but it's still sounds really good.
The Velcro is awesome! I got way more than I needed but wasn't to expensive and didn't have to take my truck apart. Gotta give credit to @dakotasyota for that idea though!

I agree. For how big the radio is that's probably the best location. I wanted to take the face plate off and extend all the wires and put the faceplate in front of the front cup holders. But I just don't think I want to undertake that big of a project right now haha. Where did you get the Velcro from? Nice Dakotasyota! Good idea. Haha

I thought about that too but thats such a big project haha I got it from my local hardware store! Just says "industrial strength" on the front of it. 4ft x 2" roll was $10 but they didn't have any other good sizes.. Plus I can use the always use the rest for something.

haha yeah! Where else was I supposed to put it??

After a long night its finally installed! Shout out to @dakotasyota for cutting my bed sides and majorly helping install it! Just need to get new wheels then my full size spare will be on it.. Decided to cover up the ugly stock steel for now. Need to put on jerry can holder, trailer wiring harness and possibly license plate lights.. Basically just clean up the mess

Something like this, MB Razor's I think they are. Discount tire has them for $92/each which isn't bad since I need 5. Just waiting to see if discount tire direct will get them back on their site so I don't have to pay tax haha
