Cruise Control inop after clockspring change

    Hey guys 2012 Tacoma , I replaced my broken clock spring spiral cable today with Toyota Part Number 843060E010. Everything works except the cruise control now. I double checked the connectors and still no joy. Anyone have any advice input on why it may be inop?

    Did you install a New Spiral Cable or used? If so it seems to indicate a defective cable or loose / disconnected connector. It could also be the actual stalk that is defective...

    Yes it's new as far as I know lol. It is however an Amazon special. Reviews were good so I bit. It's hard to spend $250 on something so damn flimsy but that may be the made in China culprit. Get what ya pay for.
