Ya he grew up there. But he was a sold player and yes my younger brother and Etem grew up together so he was at our house all the time. And wisniewski I am sad about to! I was upset he didn't play as much because of his injury, but was looking forward to a great sold defenseman for the next season plus why did we get him for a Goalie we have plenty good ones: Anderson, Gibson and LaBarera

The Mike Richards cap hit for the next decade is a major pia ...why not just keep him on/or farm team and the nightmare will be over in 5 yrs. I personally think the dude can still step it up, he was playing good after he was called back up.

The best part is how the Kings could of bought him out free and clear after there cup win. I don't care how Lombardi justifies that he didn't use the compliance buyout, that shit is funny.

Kessel still rumored to be going to the Penguins from what I'm hearing on the radio this morning. I will believe it when I see it. I'm willing to guess that it won't happen because Shanny doesn't want to eat salary for that long.

I heard Leafs may retain $2m per season to make the Kessel deal "sweeter" for other teams. Not sure how true that is or not.

 

Sabres waive Hodgson

The Sabres have waived Cody Hodgson. They will buy him out.

 

I think the only way a deal with the Penguins gets done is if Pittsburgh is willing to let go of a good young defenseman, a prospect, and Sutter for Kessel, a leafs OK defenseman, and probably Bozak. The Leafs keep between 2-3 million of Kessels cap hit, conditionally after a few years. Not saying that's fair but that's a deal I could see working out for both teams.
