I put heated seats in my truck, and bought a used hard cover. Total cost... $600.

Tonno-pro has bed covers for $500 or less. Amazon has heated seat kits.

What about one of those ARB freezers? ;)

Ok so maybe that's my wish list! Haven't been able to convince the lady a thousand dollar wine cooler is justified...its kind of practical?

Cool. Well enjoy New Jersey. I was born and raised there, spent 54 years there before I retired early and moved here to be closer to family. Don't believe all the bad things you hear about NJ, there are some just like any other place. Just an FYI, I had an Advantage Torza Top tonneau cover for two years on my Tacoma here. No complaints, but I wanted something with more weather proof storage and just got a Leer cap a couple of months ago.

maybe later on down the road, first I want things to make it more functional and comfy
Not gonna lie, NJ was not my top choice for assignment, nor was it #6. I cant bring by rifles, cant pump gas and they wont even consider suppressors. But I gotta make the best of it and plan on doing so by spending lots of time in NYC and visiting family in CT, oh and get to see the Pats play the NJ Junk once a year will be nice ( if I'm not deployed again :( )

I would go with the cover. I have had the extang soft tri fold for 8 years now and used it on both my tacos and its still holding up fine. Keeps the rain/snow out.
