    Does anyone know if its safe to start my truck now that the supercharger is all done? Its not reflashed yet. I just want to get the fuel system primed and the coolant filled before I take it to the dealership on a trailer to have it flashed

    Got this from supercharger install thread:
    Step 24J – If you are doing the install at home there is no way to prime the fuel system with the TIS techstream tool. I started the truck without priming and everything was fine. Just be aware that the truck might be hard to start or die after starting until the air is purged from the fuel lines.

    Additional steps for home installation;
    -Start the truck and let it run for just a minute. Shut it off and then check the radiator coolant level. Add as necessary to fill to the top. The water pump will purge air from the block. Repeat this 2-3 times.

    -Start the truck and let it reach normal operating temperature. Check for the following;
    -Coolant leaks around the thermostat housing, especially around the spacer that was installed.
    -Coolant leaks at all hose fittings (intercooler pump, LTR, S/C housing cover, intercooler coolant reservoir, 3/4x3/4” hose fitting, etc.
    -Check for fuel leaks or smells from around the fuel line and injectors. You will not be able to see this area because the S/C housing covers it.
    -Do not open the radiator cap when hot. Allow it to cool completely before checking the coolant level again.
    -If you have not done so already, reinstall the radiator grill.

    ECU Reflash, Step 25

    The truck will not run properly until the ECU is reflashed. Do not skip this step.

    You can drive the truck to the dealer to have this done but take care to use only low throttle inputs and engine speeds. If you are heavy on the gas pedal or run at high-RPMs the S/C will develop boost, which your truck is not yet programmed to handle.

    No mods whatsoever!
    I tried to do as much research as possible. Read a lot about other leaf packs squeaking. Didn't see anything negative about Wheeler's 5 leaf, and I wanted under 3" lift. I think I paid $606 delivered. Glad I pulled the trigger, as well as the other upgrades.

    Assume you installed the SC yourself.. Guess you didn't want to keep the power train warranty for the duration??? I bought a SC yesterday from a dealer down in Mississippi! Hopefully have it by mid-week then having it installed by a dealer down in Cincinatti area.. Paying $680, but it's nice to have a longer waranty.

    There is nothing affected by me installing the thing that would give them a valid reason for a warranty claim.

    I have the 125k plan. I don't care that the charger is only warrantied for 1 year, they are pretty reliable. The rest of the powertrain is the same as before. I talked to a couple dealers about that. And I read everything I could find.
    I trust myself to do a better job than the tech at the dealership. Any day of the week. And to pay 1000 dollars on top of that is just insanity.

    Besides, I am not afraid to tell the dealer to shove it and find another one.

    Everyone here wanted 1000 bucks.

    Thats insane.

    For 600 I would have let them do it.

    Yeah man I hear you!! I called three dealers and most in my area are saying $1200 installed! Freaking ripoff if you ask me!! I can live with $680, but trying to get in down to $500 ish!! How much did you end up scoring for your SC unit?? I ended up shelling out $4900 shipped. At this point it looks like the $3800 or so prices that guys got theirs for is going to be tough!! Can't wait for your report once you get it flashed...

    I thought of getting the same decal once mine is supercharged.

    I paid 4400 for the unit and 500 for install. But I paid 200 in taxes so 5180 otd.... Not bad in my opinion

    I payed 4400 and some change for the main assembly, fit kit, and shipping.

    The MSRP bumped up a while back, otherwise the 3800 would still be around.

    Install was free. 21 bucks for the coolant for the intercooler from toyota. And 2 and a half cases of beer.

    Thanks! No issues with any angles and I do have the stock UCAs. The only issue I had with the alignment was with the steering wheel. The alignment was great, but the steering wheel was slightly off-center to the right and my OCD wouldn't let me just leave it alone. I took it back to the alignment shop twice and they still couldn't get it lined up center. Needless to say I will not be using that shop for an alignment anymore. I ended up figuring it out on my own.

    I want those. I was going to buy the struts at Pep Boys but was concerned with getting them in the right spots. I did not want to risk buckling my hood like you use to see on the old GMs.

    Wheelers Progressive AAL, Firestone RideRite airbags.
    Well dealer says my shock is in, and they confrimed it is the shock that is specified by my vin number and that's what was ordered... But Im still showing they ordered the normal TRD OR shock, so Im going to drop it off Friday morning to have them install it for me.

    Assuming it is the right shock... Im going to be interested in replacing my rear springs soon. I already purchased the Wheelers Progressive AAL and they are sitting in their box in my garage. Should I install those, or should I should replace my springs with the OME Dakar's and sell the AAL's?

    Check out Amazon for the RedlineTuning QuickLIFT, can't beat free shipping. I had it on my 08 and didn't encounter any problems with them.

    I have the wheelers progressive now. If you have light usage on your truck they should be great.

    They are not quite heavy duty enough for me. And they don't lift it quite enough for me. Barely corrected the saggy ass to level.

    And my supercharger made my spring wrap issues come right back too.
