    the governator is a douche

    read on NRA website

"Governator" And California Lawmakers Approve Firearm Owner Registration Scheme: This week, Governor Schwarzenegger (R-Calif.) signed yet another severe, but impotent gun control measure into law. Assembly Bill 962, which takes effect on February 1, 2011, mandates individuals purchasing ammunition to be fingerprinted and registered at the time of sale and outlaws mail order ammunition purchases. AB 962 will also require dealers to maintain these records indefinitely and make them available for inspection by the California Department of Justice. As an additional burden, ammunition retailers will also be required to store ammunition away from purchasers. AB 962 failed to garner support from Attorney General Brown, or any law enforcement organization. In fact, 15 sheriffs wrote letters of opposition to this legislation.

I don't see how keeping these records would make any diff; its not like each rounds are individually numbered. People can also drive to NV to buy ammo, its cash and carry there.

Hell yeah!!! Come on over and stock up!!! But don't move here, we have enough Californians buying up property and making it private property so people cant hunt in larger areas like before!!

Hunting in Las Vagas? I though all you guys do is get sunburns and build casinos? I was at Pro Base last month looking for 40s and guess what… no ammo just like CA. I guess your too close to the border.

No offense to you buddy but Nevada is a big state!!! I don't get why EVERYONE thinks we all live in Vegas!!! I am far north-east on the Utah border. About 6 hours away from Vegas. Lots of hunting goes on up here in this area. Its just that a lot of Californians buy acres and acres of land, then put up fences with "private property" signs all over the place!!!! Then you cant even hunt in their area!!!!

Here in Reno (just over the border from Cali) we have plenty of ammo. We have a Cabelas, a Sheels, a Sportmans Warehouse and numerous other sporting goods stores. Come on up and spend your tax dollars here. California has so much money, they don't need it from their own residents. Arnold needs to go back to making Terminator movies and California needs to pull it's head out of its ass. I grew up in California and there are a lot of great things about that state, but their politics drive me nuts. JMO. Sorry for the rant.
