So in the meantime, until I figure out this Trans issue.. I guess I'll keep moving on down the list of to-do's.

*next is UCA's.. hopefully this weekend. depends on when i get the other parts from Camburg.
*having a possible stereo/electrical issue. Volume fades in and out sporadically.. cant duplicate it. have checked grounds, tore out the HU, door panels, etc. I've also had a couple rough starts so im wondering if its alternator related. although.. when my alternator went out on my 1st gen, i had much more serious and obvious tells it was going out.
*still planning on ditching my back half of the exhaust and going with (2) Borla's
*window tint (cant believe its been this long and still havent done it.. priorities)
*some misc TLC and detailing.. especially the interior.. needs a good shampooing.

So once we get back from our trip.. I think I'm going to seriously start looking into getting out of the truck. starting over. getting a 2016 Taco and starting fresh. keeping it practical for what I do/use it for. Once I find the best dealer to trade the truck in to.. I will start a part out list.. and will be looking for stock parts to replace mine with. Hoping to get around $20k-$23k for a trade in.. kbb is about 24k-25k. then between 5k-8k in parts. I'll use the part money to pay off my Credit Card, and use the trade in amount towards the new truck, then save for a basic lift (probably OME) wheels, tires, sliders, and maybe some Duallys on the hood for some extra lighting when up north.. and done. no performance upgrades.. leaving it stock. nothing on the interior.. leaving it stock.

so.. if anyone has recommendations for dealers to talk to, or has any 2nd gen stock parts, let me know. I need to start making moves on this... or else im just going to keep dancing around the issue. so I need some help/push in the right direction.

I shopped Camelback, Riverview, Power, and Larry Miller when I was looking to trade my 11 for the 13, and Camelback gave me the best offer by a few thousand dollars. Power pretended they'd match Camelback's offer and then backpedalled on the phone after I left, so I don't give them business anymore. Since I have a feeling you know exactly what trade you're looking for, deal with the internet/fleet managers and not salesmen.

I'll keep an eye on this, been thinking about a suspension setup similar to yours.

If you ask. You don't know me very well!
Mesa, AZ to NM to OK to UT back to Mesa
    Vehicle:
2012 Red TRD OR 4x4 DCSB (aka Clifford the Big Red Truck)
12 OR DCSB 4x4 265/75/16 Goodyear Ultra Terrain wrapped on MB352's. OME 886's w/5100's front and back, and Dakars. Derped Emblems. KM Fab sliders, Mobtown Front and back bumpers w/tire gate, KM Fab Bed Rack, Bestop Supertop, Matt Gecko bed lights. Tree Smashed Taco 06 OR AC Prerunner! OME 885 with 5100's in front, TSB and AAL with 5125's in back. 30" light bar in the valance.
My picks are Superstition or Riverview. I stay away from Big Two and Camelback.

Big two lost my business when the people washing my truck after service kept stealing shit out of my truck. I called out the service manager several times and he did nothing.

Camelback screwed over my parents in 2002 when they bought their van. Told my dad that he would get a better deal going through Chase at 9.1% than the 5.5% with Desert Schools even though he had been pre-approved for the loan when he called Desert School before going to the dealership. Once my dad got the van, he went to Desert Schools and got the loan through them and left Chase.
