Glad you saw my post because I would have never found that thread. I know it's been asked but will it fit on the flares with a little bit of persuasion? If so I'm sold. :D

I'm assuming you're talking about lining the edge of a trimmed flare, correct? The trim is a pretty tight fit on the sheet metal, but I'm thinking that, with a little persuasion you could make it work on the flares. The trim has a metal liner that should expand enough. You'll just have to give it a shot. :D

I'm headed out of town tomorrow morning for the 4th, so if you want the trim by the weekend get your order in today. I can ship it out this evening.

I've ran 12.5's on the factory sport wheels plenty, and they're 7.5" wide. My current set of wheels are 8" wide and I have a 12.5" tire on them. I wouldn't worry about it.

    yup ^^^^^

never broken a bead (knock on wood) with aired down 35s on factory 7.5'' wheels. now, the bead contour of Toyota alloys holds far better than most aftermarket allows and steel wheels, so you may run into issues a lot faster with an aftermarket 7.0'' or 7.5''

I ran wide stuff in my Sami back in the day, but didnt know if the extra weight on my 7.5 steelies aired down would have been issue on the bead. Thanks for the input

Yeah I plan on taking the dremel to the flares this weekend and take about 2" off. I'll hold off for this weekend, don't plan on doing too much with it as I'm heading out of town for a couple days as well. I'll regroup with you early next week to get my order in.

The swampers aren't really 12.5, apparently they run really narrow. A couple guys have them, n0rth being one of them

There is another Interco tire in size 35 x 10.50 x 16, part number SSR-41R. I would like to get a set but $$. Would be cool if we could generate enough interest to do a group buy if we could make them affordable.....

No big deal to do it. A little choppy choppy, cutty cutty and you're good to go.

lol, I'm ready to chop my truck up. Just waiting on tires now. I should have just went straight to 35's instead of 265 then to 285 and now 315? Wasted a lot of cash going through those different sets.

You had me curious so I went out and measured. My 36x12.5" tsl measure out to 10" wide, the lug width is 9" from outer lug to outer lug. What they lack in width they make up for in height, I measured and they are at 35.5" with about half the tread worn :D. You can see how skinny they are compared to homers 315 nittos and the samis boggers
