If they weren't so Damn expensive that's what would be on my truck right now. I think the narrower tire would require less tubbing. Not that I regret my decision, but they seemed like the easier option. I refuse to pay $360+/tire though

Nice, I wonder why they run so skinny compared to the advertised width. Mine are mounted on an 8" wide wheel so maybe they'd be wider if I used a wider wheel :not sure:

Yeah the narrower wheel def requires less tubbing. I barely did any more clearancing in the wheel well from my 285s to fit the tsls, it was nice.
The key is to find someone looking to go bigger. I got mine for 160 a tire and that included the wheel, some nice TRD fake beadlocks that I'm going to put on my other truck. Just gotta wait for a deal to pop up and be patient. :)

I'll stick to my surplus 37" Bajas for now. But it's definitely something I looked at and an option other people should explore

I paid 1000 for mine because they had blems on them. And tsls always seem to run skinny. Mine are mounted basically on a 8.5" wheel. But they are amazing off-road.

i got some 35s and this thread definitely makes me want to go bigger but a tad more narrow....
That added width of a 12.5 tire just makes life that tad bit harder on clearance

I will, I didn't have to do the CMC to fit my 285's so I'll be doing that and some pinch weld massaging. Gonna try to drop to 2" lift up front as well before I'm done, but that'll be around the time I 4x4 it. I plan on having to cut the fenders before I can stuff them.

For those who don't know, this dude is running 885's on 5100's set at 2.5. I saw it in person and i don't know how he hasn't broke those shocks yet.

Maybe he should keep it like that. It would make fitting 35's way easier :p

Yea, but I didn't set them up. Bought and installed pre-assembled and had no idea about 5100 settings at the time. My passengers side is blown as fuck and I'm surprised they're still in one piece honestly. I'm ordering new 5100's soon and will be replacing them and setting them at 0.

One step closer to 35s with a 3 inch lift. Will be cutting fenders and flares tomorrow. Looking for advice about the pinch weld if anybody has any suggestions.

Beat it like it owes you money. Start with a crescent wrench and fold it over then work up to a 10 lb sledge
