OK guys here's what Im asking help on. I replaced my steering rack bushings with the Energy Suspension bushings. Steering feels great now, however I have a poping noise coming from my the lower intermediate shaft. I'm guessing the steering rack had so much slop in it before I never noticed with the worn out bushings.
Had the little lady turn the steering wheel a few cycles while I layed under the truck and sure enough the lower intermediate shaft is loose and when I hold it while she turns the steering wheel it doesn't pop since I'm applying pressure to it. I can't do any TSBs because I have 100k miles on my 2012 lol.. so with that being said can anyone help give me some real world experience of your own dealing with this ?

I sprayed some oil on it last night with silicone but it still pops. I watched it while turning the wheel and it visibly looks loose when it pops. I've got 100k on my truck.

Those u joints are not made to come apart. Don't risk a wreck, get the intermediate shaft and replace the assembly.
