so im thinkin about picking up a set of these in the future since they are only $73 a piece instead of buying all new aluminum mickey thompson 17s in the style I have now which are $150 a piece. they look pretty much the same. and if i remember correctly, negative BS means the wheel is farther out correct? these have a -12mm offset with 4.5" BS

I was considering going with these, but ended up scoring a set of the TX Baja wheels.

 

nice, ya im figuring goin with the steelies for the price, I dont feel like spending $750 on aluminum wheels when I can spend half that on steelies for 5 of them lol. now just need to see if I can find some front and rear fenders and big tires for cheap

 

Why not get the correct wheel specs for the big tires you're planning on running?

 

I would just save up and go aluminum. Those cheap steel wheels rust out in no time!

 

If anyone is in Melbourne/Palm Bay this weekend I'll be wheeling at the compound. One of the land owners out there has been going out with excavators and they've made new obstacles for the buggy guys but if you at least have a rear locker and 4wd it's not impossible. I'll be out there Friday/saturday

 

jealous. I miss the compound. I took it for granted, having a wheeling spot 20 minutes away....
