What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Took the little bitch shopping last night. Got her oil changed, tires re-balanced and rotated, alignment , and new brakes all the way around. Now she'll put out for another ten years.

 

Those will be my next set of tires. My buddy works for Firestone (Yay 4 me) and he's ran them for years. Loves them. What size did you go with?

 

I don't remember seeing that when I install my TRD SS.

 

I did this recently just a few days after I bought it.

N-FAB Nerf bars.

Mounting Raptor letters soon.

 

I went with 285/75/16. They are good so far! On hwy/street the hum is there but not howling. Got a good deal at Americas Tire. A set of 4 gets you a 75 dollar rebate!

Thanks man! I'm really excited about it. I'd like to start taking orders for these since I was able to streamline the fabrication process a bit, but I still need to go through a couple prototypes to really refine my methods and parts. Also will need some specialty tools to help make the the process and finished products more consistent. I also have some diplomatic concerns to address before these will be able to be ordered.

But until then, I will be selling off prototypes as I cycle in the new ones. I will be exploring many different styles / options for these and I'm very excited to make some even more customized grills.

Thanks guys. Hey whats the best for your buck set of spot light hood brackets? The ones that bolt on where your hood hinges are utilizing the same bolt.

 

And i have only an sr5 so would it be lame if i had a trd sticker?

 

I think its fine. But if you put a pro grille on a non pro, thats too far. My dad and I saw a tundra with the pro grille and the limited/sr5 badges at bucees. So me being me, I told him he had a nice TRD Pro with the limited badges and he gave me a dirty look lol

 

Just little stuff for me today. Installed a 2-channel dash cam (front and rear) and made paracord grab handles and threw them on.
