Added a bunch of stuff. Cut to fit 285 AT3’s
Also add the fact that it may have a 1750# rating but then you add leverage. 100# 2 feet away from the spindle has a lot more force. Once you hang a rim and tire (~100#) a couple jerry cans (~80#) and maybe a cooler (which gets lighter as you drink the beer :) ) you're gonna love the capacity. Just my .02

I couldn't agree with you more. For the price difference between a standard and heavy duty spindle I didn't care about the cost cuz I know I at least have the peace of mind that it's gonna be pure beef on there! Thanks for your input man

Spindle for the swing out came today!! It's soooo beefy!!! Be a couple days before I can make any more progress on the actual bumper. In the mean time here's a few pictures of the bed rack I just made for my RTT

Went over to my buddy's house tonight who has a plasma cutter and I got the spindle hole cut out and all the panel pieces cut out! Hopefully start welding it up tomorrow.

So huge!! 1.75" diameter for the inner spindle part. The outside housing is like almost 3" haha. It's BIG!! Gives me piece of mind though that it'll be able to handle the weight of tire and jerry cans

Protection for the spindle? Or the body above the side steel panel?

I think it would be pretty cool to do. I'll have to see how everything turns out and then I'll think about adding that on.

Just a little progress report for today. Got the spindle welded in! Got the side plates tacked on and into position. Very rough right now but once I get everything fully welded and grinded down it should start looking a little prettier (hopefully!)
