Can any of you gun enthusiasts recommend a good reliable compact 9mm? Maybe some you have had experiences with or even bad experiences for me to avoid. Been doing a lot of research trying to figure out what to get myself and my wife. I am constantly reading good feedback on the S&W M&P Shield but am open to anything. I have a Glock 19 but it is just a bit too big for me to carry IMO so I would like something a bit smaller and slimmer.

I might hit up these July 4th sales this weekend

I've had my Springfield sub-compact 9 for a few years now with zero complaints or issues. There are probably 1000 rounds that have been put through it with no jamming, misfires, etc....

not sure I want to get another Glock honestly. But if I did it would prob be the Glock 43 to carry.

I have been reading up on those too the XDS models (I think is what they are called)

 

I love my g 17, but if the 19 is too big this is even bigger.

 

Prob the steelies off the FJ (if they are the same ones I transported to Hard Rock)

 

haha yeah the 19 is a bit too chunky for me to carry. I wear tighter clothing with tucked in shirts for work, mainly polos and button downs so slimmer and smaller is better, but I don't want a pocket pistol that is tiny with no accuracy at all.

 

id love to get me* a 1911....but those aint small haha

 

I got a S&W 637 i pocket carry with .38 +p and I can hit center mass at 15 yards all day. Plenty good for me. Now if you like head shots I see your point . I have a g30sf g17 and g19 and all are too big and clunky to carry for me and I refuse to buy clothing three sizes too big since Im already big enough.

My IWB carry is a kahr 9mm single stack. I do want to seel it and get me a g43 though lose one round but gain more comfort.

I like the 2nd ones better & yeah those center cap seem to be ridiculously long. Haha

 

The best concealed carry holster i ever used was Galco hands down. I used my sig 226 w/o a light during u/c use and you could never tell i had it. never used it with a glock though. They tend to be a little on the chunky side IMO. and Alpha there are a few "mini" 1911 style guns that are more concealable if you like the style.
