I put a Curt 13323 hitch receiver on my truck tonight. Wow, what a PITA. I've done a few hitches before, but this thing had braces that went outside the frame rails. Yeah, good luck when the hitch is made of 1/4" plate and just as wide as the frame rails. The only way I was able to do it was to take the bumper and it's braces off the truck, beat the hitch up the frame rails with a rubber mallet, and loosen all bumper braces, then tighten them around the hitch. Good luck sliding it right into place by hand like in the online videos. It's all set now, though, and just 80 miles until I hit 500 and can use it.

They mount to already existing holes. Hardest part is trimming away some of the rain tray but overall a really easy install.

My OEM hitch had the same problem when I installed it. Nothing a couple whacks with a BFH didn't fix.

Total pain in the dick until I gave up trying to finesse it.

Thanks. They are not too hard to do. I did a couple bracelets by watching YouTube a while back. Still had a bunch of cord left over and kept seeing them on this board and decided what the hell as I took today off from work. They came out pretty good I guess. 12' of continuous cord for each seat made a good length handle it seems.

I considered powder coating but was afraid it wouldn't match. I had it painted instead since I don't go through the mud or woods. Just the trails in Colorado. I can touch it up if I bang into a rock but powder coating is much harder to match. I've got left over paint that they gave me for touch up.

Got it installed today at the station. It's got about 3/4" gap around after being shimmed. I'm so fucking OCD that I'm going to go home tomorrow and paint the part of the inner fender black that shows through the gap. Stupid I know but it's driving me nuts.

    Anyway... Here are the pics.

Rigid Cubes are Holy Fuck BRIGHT! I'll not be using the fog light button much anymore.

EDIT: Anyone considering Rigid Cubes... If you cut the plastic on the connector coming from the cube about 1/4" it will plug right into the factory connector.
