    You American's are lucky.

I have called 5 dealerships around Vancouver BC Canada,

    The lowest is $6700+ tax
    Highest is 7300+tax.

Supercharger alone lowest price (at my dealership with a "deal") $5100+tax.

Those aren't bad prices. What kills you in BC is paying all the tax on that.

I got my S/C installed for $6250 CAD taxes in, but that was part of a deal a dealership was running. I'd be surprised if there are any fit kits left in Canada. There was only a few S/C and fit kits kept up here at any one time and the rest were ordered in from the USA. Given the swamp of back orders down there.... Good Luck getting one.

Well you got 2 kidneys........should probably verify that first as it's possible to be born with only 1 functioning......and no supercharger. :D

If you buy a used s/c do you still need to hunt down a fit kit? Or are those parts reusable

There are fit kits in stock in Canada on Amazon.ca. And no, these fit kits cannot be imported to the USA through Amazon.

I meant through Toyota's part chain in Canada. I'm surprised that Amazon has stock though. Is it from Amazon itself or a third party? I've seen it happen a few times that a third party shows stock but doesn't ship for a few weeks because they are simply direct shipping.

I dont trust the 3rd party sellers on amazon as much as I trust 'fulfilled by amazon' for that very reason. Amazon.ca has both, though the lead time is quite long on the ones fulfilled by amazon.ca, so that could be a red flag. I ordered my fit kit off Amazon.com, (fulfilled by amazon) and with Prime it arrived in 2 days.
