It's less Tacoma and more mod
Got mine back from getting diagnostic work done on the engine. Cyls 2 & 3 leak to coolant, so on Wednesday it'll be going in for the big fix ($1200-1300). Hopefully when they rip the head off and have it pressure tested and milled there are no issues (cracks or valve adjustment).

Yea that's a lot of money. 3k+. I didn't have that when I regeared. Still don't. But since I can do gears myself I don't mind just ripping the diff out. Not exactly looking forward to doing the front again..but I'll do it at some point.

It was pretty fun using my locker for the first time, very smooth.

Yea not having ton ump everything will be nice....well..not everything. So far there is only one maybe two spots in Wyoming I can think of that a locker will make things smoother. 5.29s helped a lot in that area for me in the first place.

So yeah. For the front mount I'm gonna try and fab a plate like this, maybe 18ga stainless or w/e I can find. Never did anything like this before so we will see.

If I can find a hook-bolt that is 1/2" longer then all I have to do is drill out the rear center hole on the top of the cage and use the stock nut to tighten it down.

Got my lightbar and switch wired up, gonna order a blue sea fuse box, winch power and winch in/out switches, spot light switches, and possibly some CBI ditch light brackets on the next few days.

Definelty not, I need to clean up the wiring and an ACC fuse box seemed like the best way to do it, when my wiring is done Winch, Starter, and subwoofer should be the only wires going to the battery besides the fuse boxes.
