You should add a plexiglas or plastic panel in the floor

My GF loves perusing TW with me and wants to know more about the truck, etc.

So I showed her my CB set up and that this is where I'm going to mount the handheld and wanted to include her in the decision making... and get her input about placement, obstruction, ease of reach, etc...

Me: What do you think of the mic/handheld being mounted there?

GF: So long as that cord doesn't touch my leg it's fine.

I know I know I'm trying not to think about it :D

The only consolation is that since moving to the Great White North I can buy performance parts from the states close to what I can get OEM locally.

For example a NAPA starter is $270 and the alternator is $350. Toyota remans are about the same. By the time you add labor (labour here :) I think I'm way ahead with performance parts installed myself.

    Do I sound defensive? ;)

You'll have to get a lexan partition similar to this so you don't have to put up with her bitching. :luvya:

Good luck with the gap between the back bumper and the tailgate with the body lift. I've had my 2" on there for almost a year and still havent fixed it lol. I tried doing the little bracket flip thingy and drilling new holes or whatever but didn't work. Gonna try and make some brackets once I get some steel
