He seems straight up. The internet sales guys seem more straightforward. He is basically quoting me $3k under MSRP, which is $1k under invoice, which is better than anyone else could do (they were all at invoice +$200, but that was no negotiating, just chatting, because none of them actually POSSESS the correct truck ( I drove a mag gray and a white, but no silver today), and they would charge another $300 to transfer from another dealer (again, just chat, I was just listening to the BS). I asked one of these guys where they would transfer from, and he actually let the cat out of the bag, Freeman and Thurston, which is in Ukiah. I said thanks, went home and googled that shit and bingo.

So that is the price, plus the tax and license, and an $80 "doc fee," which is the max they can charge for that in CA per DMV.

BTW, I learned about dealer holdbacks today, which is why they can sell at or below invoice and still make money.
LOL OK, apparently you know him. Are you Scots? I'm English, but 1st gen American. You haggisfucker.

If they happen to offer to "toss in an OEM roof rack," I'd gladly take it off your hands!

Spotted @ffdawson i believe walking to the Penngrove parade. I grew up right down the way on Davis. My dad still lives there. Was going to snap a pic but I think it was your wife and daughter in the driveway. Truck looks so sick!

Pulled up to the Toyota dealership today and a salesman starts complimenting me on my 4Runner. Ask if I'm looking to sell and that it would be a shame if I did. Ended up bullshitting about Tundras for a bit as I said I was interested in one and he tried to get me in a 2010. Was a super nice guy and not pushy like most of the salesman I've dealt with. A refreshing change.
