My fourth went from a peaceful night camping in the snowies with a friend and her dog to 7 people total, 3 of which apparently never camped much. Two completely forgot their tent, one brought a tent but the wrong poles and didn't know how to set it up. The others were alright. I am not fully convinced the girl I was with is a seasoned camper but she helped pitch my tent in 5 minutes and managed to bring food, clothes for the weather, and sleeping gear.

These are all individuals with degrees in wildlife management btw....

Its off of shell reservoir road. Id only recommend going down it. No way you could make it up with out a locker. super fun though. Both my dad and i hit the sliders once and skids a bit.

One day, Ill be heading up that way soon to look at the area I got a tag for. Just need to confirm it with the boss man and hopefully have 3 days to play.

Camping really wasn't stressful. It's fun to take people who are interested in camping and show them a good time. I was just about to help the couple make a lean-to before we found out someone had an extra tent. They were all good sports too. No complaining...just confused.

    ah well that's good.

Where did you get a tag? I know a ton of people that have been hunting the big horns for a long time that didn't draw shit. All the people that hunt the beartooths/absorkas have moved over there due to the wolves.

37, Luckily my friend is able to tag along and he knows the area well. Pretty sure he drew 41 so we are right next to each other anyways.

Goose is this weekend i hope! I have to tear my rear diff apart..but :praying: all goes well and will be a smooth install of the ARB.

its on the shell res road. After the Y where you can either go to shell or the paint rock lakes. You go all the way up the hill then turn right on a pretty prominate right hand turn. The second right hand road. Then on that road you come to another Y and you stay left. Then you'll start the decent and it gets rocky as hell and tight. But the LT never caused me any bad issues and dad never have any big issues either. Was super fun.IT my fav area too. Super pretty this year. VERY green. bugs where bad though.

Oh you bastard that was our area. i think..37/42. Maybe not..i don't remember..maybe it was 36/42? idk..i know it was the area that is to the south of Shell highway 14a. area 40 is north. Basically it was the area we went wheeling around on last year except for the copemans tomb road.

I believe you are thinking of 41. 37 is on the otherside of the mountain near red grade. I have archery only so i get confined to a smaller area within 37 but get to hunt earlier.
