Does anyone ever wish they got the long bed instead of the SB

I miss the 6' bed on my old AC sometimes, but... Not enough to give up the cab room. Not that I'm a DCSB nut swinger, cause I like the DCLB too, bummed that they don't make one with an e-locker and A-Trac.

 

I just purchased a dcsb (with bed extender), I wanted the lb but I wanted the DC and mt more. I have access to multiple trailers if I need the extra space. As said before me, I'd rather mess up a $3k trailer than a $35k truck.

 

Even with the bed extender, I wish I had purchased the DCLB. Oh well, it's paid for at least.

 

No, I just thought about it for 5 seconds, then I bought a long bed.

Access cab or Double cab was the question!

 

There was never any doubt for me. I don't need the extra foot or I would've purchased a LB.

It has started to get super crowded. Especially on the weekends. Parking is a bitch. Tourists need to stay in Waikiki. LOL

 

Yeah I follow the MyKailua page, I'm homesick for the past. I imagine going out to the sandbar, cracking open a beer, and having a Lt Dan moment.

 

DCLB are harder to make look "lifted" unless you go huge. SB is easier to see the lift IMO

There is no point for a SB. My wife and I both have the DCLB and love them.

 

To each their own. I like my high and clean SB as opposed to dented ass rock crawlers or LBs. If i needed all the bed space a LB has, I would have bought a full size. Which is what my next truck will be. But as a college student, I dont have any need to go crawling or do crazy towing so I'm happy with just what I have.

 

In Canada you don't have the option to get the DCSB unless you get a manual, which was unfortunately not an option for me.


But I am very happy with the LB no regrets.

 

For some reason this argument is not present on the full size Chevy and Ford truck forums.

It's like s bunch of small penis guys arguing over who has the largest of the small penises.
