Not sure I understand (I'm slow). Post ban uppers can have a collapsible stock...Ma. requires a pre ban in order to put a collapsible stock on?

I grew up in Duxbury btw, man am I glad I'm out of there.

The '94 ban was no longer effective in 2004 because it had an expiration date...unless there are some other state laws that prohibit such weapons from being possessed like CA.

I know but a few states kept it as part of their laws.I know , I was shocked also.Thats why some companies continued to make guns in old configs , not just Commifornia.I will try to find the list I saw once.Armory USA out of Texas continued to make all there guns(AK types) with out threaded muzzles , bayo lugs and folders.I thought they were lame for that.

you know what chapps my butt - I can be born 'n raised in new york, and serve in the military but I can't own a gun in NY with out a CCW. I can be in Arkansas for 2 months and I can buy all the guns I want - WTF!

Does anyone know of a way I can fulfill my firearms training course for the NY CCW while I'm in Arkansas so when I get home I can file the paperwork??

I knew this when I baught my gun, I guess I am going to have to ship the gun to a gun dealer back home andhave my dad pick up and hold on to my gun until I get my ccw for Ny. [end rant]

Do like I did and move out of that communist state. I love NY but I can not be oppressed like that so I moved to a free state.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
would NY recognize Arkansas's CCW permit? i know some states offer reciprocity and some don't...nope, doesn't look like they do: http://www.ccrkba.org/reciprocity.html

I was able to find Cali based classes for my Utah CCW. Maybe you can look on the NYC CCW site for certified training that may be available in another state. Good luck!
