Dru, did you ever get these rims? I'm not sure if it's you're truck I've seen at TT, but there's one here in Jville with these black rock wheels on there and it looks tight. So tight infact, that if they will fit, I'll be getting.

Yeah man, someone that lifts at the same time as me at TT has a silver 4 door with 285 BFG's on the black rock vipers. I've only appreciated it from afar, but it sure is something. I have no idea who the guys is though, sometimes when I walk in it's sitting there, some times when I leave it's sitting there.

Dru, saw the truck at the gym again tonight. I took a look at the front calipers and it looked like he did have to do some light grinding, most likley with a dremel, just on the most outward side. I didn't get to talk to him, because I didn't see him come in and have no idea what he looks like. But, seeing them in person, it looks well worth the effort to a grind bit off the calipers to run these. Assuming that's safe.

I have been hawking those wheels for a few weeks, a local shop here sells them. The offset looks a bit agressive I would like to see them on a Tacoma, to bad no 18's.

Well he was there this morning and I got a chance to talk to him. When his lift and tires were put on the shop grinded down the calipers to make the wheels fit. They said it was perfectly ok to do this ( it's a toyota performance shop if that matters). I also got a picture so here you go.

I'm not a big fan of the rockstars personally. The black rock wheels however, I love.

I guess I would have to see a better pic on the truck, they look to small on the one in the photo above.

Well they're not man, trust me. I guess technically they're 17", but in person they look very mean. That's why I like them.
edit: you can kind of tell in the pic, but the lip sticks out a little and has a edge to it, like a razor. Badass if you ask me.
