Got'em along with some 265/70/17's. BF all terrain. Rubs a little even though research online said they would be fine. Guess it's just too much tread. In the middle of smoothing out the mud flap and then I'll think it will be good to go. Overall I'm very happy with it. May lift it a couple inches with billstein's all around and AAL in the rear. Probaly a step bar and a bull bar maybe.

My thinking behind it, and i'm no expert, was to get the largest tire available to fill the wheel well for cosmetic looks. The bigger reason is I know i'm going to lift it eventually so i wanted a lil larger tire.
I do like the look of lift kits 4-5 inches but after researching it becomes a whole new ball game after 3 inches. need springs, longer brake lines, $, $ etc. I probably do 90% city driving at the moment, hoping to decrease that.

my goal is to ultimately ride a little higher. with some billstein's and AAL i can do that and it be affordable without sacrificing much more maneuverability and gas mileage.

I went up an inch on the rim +tire. I didn't measure it, but it feels 1-2 inches higher. billstein's can raise it up to 3" i believe. they have 3 settings. I might just go with the middle setting which i think is 1.75" just so it rides smoother due to the shock being able to travel down further compared to the max height setting. kind of new to this and currently researching that aspect on the forum.

I really like the color of the truck and the wheels. I'm part owner of a print company and i have a wide format printer and i design and print wraps on a weekly basis. I'm getting a lil bit of pressure to wrap it. i know i could make it look pretty bad ass, but i like my clean black. i'll end up folding and wrapping it eventually though. it'd bring me more business and i could do some pretty neat stuff on it.

What wheel offset did you go with? Tire rack has 10mm and 25mm for 17x8 Ultra Maverick.

Seeing your truck sold me on these wheels, by the way!

I went with 0 offset. Discount tire bought and installed. Gave me the extension to get to the lugs because their not visible. I was thinking of going negative offset but they were sold out or something. Ended up taking the flaps off.
