You will regret that man. I am keeping my truck, paying for school and modifying it a little at a time.

This I already know, but the guy who's buying it is a lurker on TW and I think he will be able to finish the old girl. I am looking for a 90s 4runner if you see any sweetdeals

Are you stuck on a 4runner? I think the 90's runners were kind of a black eye for Toyota. The 22RE and 3.slow are both poor engine choices for something that heavy. At least find one with a 3.4! I would strongly suggest an 80 series landcruiser, or even a clean 100 series. They are built much stronger and are just an all around better, more reliable vehicle, all for the same price point as an equal 4runner. Just sayin'- http://bend.craigslist.org/cto/5058813701.html

Or if you are on a tighter budget- http://bend.craigslist.org/cto/5098705443.html

I'm not from Washington but I am stationed here and have a 30" led light bar in my lower grille, is it legal to use them in the time of darkness or no? Thanks. I have seen that the pods are just wondering if the bar is. Thanks.

I use mine on lonely stretches of highway all the time, but I am very cautious and flip them off anytime I see a vehicle approaching. Even if they are six miles away on a long straight stretch. They are like staring at a plasma cutter man, you don't want to fry someone's retinas.

He just asked if its legal or not lol I'd use it if I didn't see any cars either but keep my thumb on the button to turn it off real quick once I saw one.

Yeah. Oregon is torching up pretty good right now. The rest of the week will have scattered thunderstorms, so we'll have some new starts for sure. I was in Yakima today and was surprised at how smoky it was.

Yea I only use it right now on the back roads to work and yes when I see other vehicles I do turn it off. I'm not an ahole lol. But I have seen trucks here on I5 when it's foggy have them on all the time. I was just curious if that was legal or not. But I am curious to other drivers. Is this the same as if you have Amber covers over the light bar?

I know where there is a 1990 4runner. 22re, 5spd, 4x4. 2 owner. I think she wants 1600 for it. Motor has extremely high miles and is soon going to need swapped out.

Technically has to be DOT approved. I'm not aware of any "offroad" light bars that are dot approved other than the DOT rigid industries dually. http://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting/50481 Wa state may have other regs on top of that, but you have to google the vehicle code regulations to figure that out.

By the way most of the roads here suck with their line markings, specially when it is raining. Sometime I can't tell if I'm in my lane or not. Canyon rd is one of the worst! Lol
