and ofcourse ignorance is bliss. what advice would you like to hear from me that hasnt allready been statedin this thread?
the OP has 3 options the way i see it:
    1) have the dealer fix it and pony up
    2) buy the part and fix it himself
    3) take it to a independent and pay them to fix it

you call 10 dealers and get 10 differant prices b/c they are all in a differant area. you can call 10 differant independents and get 10 differant prices just the same. wats your point?

Grow a pair and fix it yourself or pay to have it fixed. This is not a warranty repair and no one can claim the dealership are douches for refusing. I know you spent a lot of money on your new truck, but this is a case of maintenance costs.

Anyone that claims the dealership must fix this must be from the entitlement generation. The dealership does not owe you repairs that you think should be taken care of.

OP if you swap the axle for a AFTERMARKET I'll gladly pay your core fee and shipping to me for the "blown" axle

Just buy a cv from advance or wherever and swap it. Changing the boots is a shitty job, for that outer you have to take the whole cv apart.

I dont see why the dealer would replace that.
The damage is not from regular use.

Dude needs to chill out a little IMO. I was just giving advice from personal experience that dealers have denied a warranty claim within ten minutes of being in the service department. Was not Toyota and could be different with them. I hate when people get on here and bent out of shape over a forum to help people out. And I'm sorry if I offended you by saying they make no money on warranty work but not as much as they would with a non warranty repair! I didn't even know this but in some states if you do damage your vehicle (rim, alignment, ect) due to road conditions, the state will pay for your damages. But I know this isn't the case here. So I hope you got your answer OP and let the trolls troll. It's time out of their day and a waist of time for an OP's original questions on here.
