    my wife really misses the handle thats not present on the 07 we now have.its the one thats above the window on the roof.we have the ones on the window pillars(i think thats what theyre called).my 00 on the pass side had both grab handles.do they make an aftermarket handle for the pass side above the window.maybe that was an option that who ever bought this truck new didnt want.

    you should see her reach for a handle thats not there.its quite humorous

    That's funny because my wife does the same thing. Our Altima had handles directly above the side window.

    In response to your actual topic, I have seen nothing of the sort in my many hours of perusing Tacoma related websites and periodicals.

    thanx ya big a$$hole!i was hoping someone would get around to it eventually.the other thing i think they should have put on the 2nd gens are the side windows on the extended cab that pushed out like the first gens

    There isn't a handle there because of the side curtain airbags, that's why it's now on the A pillar.

    that would explain it.i'll either have to slow down(see post above) or she'll have to get used to flailing for the pillar handle.i got a feeling she'll find that handle in time sooner or later.
