    Get the SSM now! If you wait, you'll regret after years of upkeep, and lower trade-in value.

    unless you have a black 2015 with a paint defect like me :(. it sucks man i only got to wax it two times in the 5 months that ive had the truck. it makes me not want to even wash it now that i know about the defective paint job. i still wash it every friday though. i just dont wax it

    Sort of going by Edmunds:

    But, really, according to KBB and Forbes, there probably isn't that much difference between MGM and SSM.

    Can't really correlate color to trade in value, unless its a one-off non mainstream shade.

    thanks man. and yeah it definitely sucks. ESPECIALLY the fact that they're taking so long to do something about it. makes me question toyota big time

    MGM is to common, you see them everwhere because it's that popular of a new color for the Tacoma. Stand out and be different, my vote, get the SSM.

    I would go SSM over MGM. I will say MGM looks great when its clean but the SSM will cover the inevitable swirl marks and light scratches much better and if you are like me I hate any visible marks on my truck.
