I have 14,500 miles on my truck and my front brakes are starting to squeal....

    I thought the brakes on these trucks were supposed to last at least twice as long. Why do I always have such great luck?

    A squeal doesn't mean worn out unless it's coming from wear indicators, which I am not sure our stock pads even have.

    Every car has wear indicators.

    You sure have a lot of problems with that truck :confused:...

    I'm just over 25k miles, I live/drive in the same place as you with no problems at all....when is the last time you had your brakes inspected? At 15k miles I think I had around 88-90% all around.

    Maybe now would be a good excuse to upgrade rotors and pads?

    Are you sure its not dirt on the brakes making the noise?
