    If its the old style Volant, it tends to make it run rich because the tube diameter is different then stock. If this is the same one, the block will probably lean it out some and get it back to original. No way to know this without afr or fuel trim readings though.

    That's what I was thinking too but I'm pretty sure I have the new style Volant. Maybe in the future I'll try and get some readings but I'm not too worried about it. To tell you the truth, I wish my truck ran this way from the factory. So, this current setup is staying.

    This current tank came in at 17.6 mpg. Still up from 16.1.

    Just one, just one scientific test to prove it works is all I ask. It's never been proven. I have read this thread for a long time. It's all buttdyno and no true tests, it's all over the place.

    I'm not a hater, but for sure it's not proven to me that it works.

    I agree. I have one and haven't noticed a single gain in power or mpg. Nothing.

    Well that sucks. Try and return it, didn't they have some kind of money back return policy? That's what I would do.

    You actually were thinking of installing it with your SC? If I had a SC I wouldn't be interested in a product like this anyway. What would you be gaining with this product installed on your truck?

    I'm right there with you, I'm still getting between 13.4 and 14.1 mpg a tank.

    I didn't notice anything until I experimented with it on a Volant intake. No change with the Volant by itself, then for shits and giggles I installed the EB, and low and behold almost a 2 mpg gain.

    I'd run an aftermarket intake but I'm adding a snorkel next week....not sure how those would adapt

    Some of us guys in cold climates did see an increase in mpg. But it coincided with warmer weather and change from winter fuel. I know because it happens every year. 13 mpg winter. 16pmg summer. Just the way it is. Some may forget and thing the EB is reason for the gains but not me

    I am a firm believer in testing, and support your wishes. That's all you had to write. Protocols for the proper use of computers/dynos, computer models, and statistics do exist. When that testing is accomplished by Crawford Performance; we'll be able to see the results. It probably would have been better to have that testing published prior to the initial sale of the Eco-Block (EB). There are numerous Subaru dyno tests performed on the EB, and anyone can view them here:

    Little late, but I have an IMS on mine and we're at 3,438 ft constantly. No issues with truck. Consistantly getting 18mpg's with my truck on 285's 70%Highway, and lots of armour and crap weighing it down.

    Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    So, I took mine off and regret it. Lost about 2mpg.
