Hey guys I'm a new Tacoma owner (2012 Super White Texas Edition) and was wanting to do a headlight mod for my first mod but I'm really torn between the white or black headlight mod. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? It'd be even better if anyone had pictures or a link to someone who had done one of the mods to their white Tacoma. I just really can't decide which one to go with.

    Thanks in advance!

I tried to re-use the OEM stuff and I added some other sealant I found in the garage...apparently I did it wrong. I'm f*#@ing pissed too because it looks so damn good.

That's a nice truck Vandal! My plan was either to go with the black headlights and plastidip my Toyota grill logo black or to go white and plastidip the logo white. I can't decide:annoyed:.

Black looks great and is much more subtle than white. Of course ultimately it's your truck but that's my 2 cents. I did mine a month ago and just reused the factory goop. No fogging yet.

Thanks man! I actually plasti dipped the valence about a year ago...still looks perfect and haven't had to touch it up or anything. Used it on my badges too. I love that stuff.

Thanks Dave! I think I'm starting to lean toward a black headlight. Not really sure I will like white in the long run just from the standpoint of it being flashy. Looks good but not sure I would like it after 1 year+. Truck looks awesome btw.

Oh alright sweet. Hopefully I'll get some time to do my valence, yours looks great. How much plastidip did it take to do the valence and all your badges? If you don't remember it's no big deal. Thanks

I'd buy two cans. I used almost the whole can for the valence, probably about a half can for my badges.
