    I agree with elmo's point. It's a possibility.

    To me that noise sounds like thin metal hitting something. Like maybe the thin metal shielding on your cats.

    When you gas it, the noise happens. When you gas it, the entire engine, trans, t-case is torquing. Maybe far enough for the shielding on the cat to touch. Broken motor/trans mounts can be the cause.

    I've also heard that noise from a front brake dust shield. Again, thin metal. If the brake shield is too close to the rotor it can hit it in certain situations. Were you turning when it made that noise when you were gassing it?

    Finally got my clear bumper turn signals in.

    Also took off the drop in liner and cleaned all the shit out from beneath it - got the dickhead spider who was always webbing my bed up.
    Preparing to spray line my bed soon. Drop in liner back in for now - thankfully no rust just lots of bare metal!

    Finally installed them. Alignment appointment at 3. They are 3.625 BS. 16x8 285/75/16. They look a lot bigger than I thought they would. They don't rub the frame. But I did cut the pinch weld and will need to more before I wheel. But before I wheel I need to wear the new off of them.
